This policy explains how JANA MEDS handles personal information when you use our website and platform.

- Addresses you save for pickup or delivery.
- Prescription files you upload, and the patient name and contact details you provide.
- Order and payment status records.
- Search terms and basic usage data used to improve the platform.
- For partner pharmacies: store, owner and business document information.
How we use it
- To operate your account and process your orders with the pharmacy you choose.
- To allow the selected partner pharmacy to review a prescription where required.
- To send service notifications about registration, orders and prescription reviews.
- To verify partner pharmacy applications.
- To detect misuse and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to fulfil your request: the partner pharmacy handling your order sees your order, contact details and, where relevant, your prescription. We also use service providers for hosting, notifications and payments. We do not sell your personal information.
Prescriptions and documents
Prescription files and pharmacy documents are stored in private storage. They are not publicly accessible and are visible only to you, the pharmacy handling your request and authorised JANA MEDS reviewers.
Security
We use role-based access controls, database-level access rules, private file storage, encrypted connections and audit logging of sensitive actions.
Retention
We keep records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by applicable law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
- You can view and update your profile and addresses in your account.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your data by writing to support@janameds.in.
- Deletion requests are subject to record-keeping requirements under applicable law.
